To answer the hardest questions in cognitive science, we need to be courageous and grounded, interdisciplinary and rigorous, socially conscious and self-aware. These are the ideals I strive for in my research.
I primarily study how humans (mis)communicate with each other. My early PhD work explored exactly when people repair problems in conversation and methods for transcribing paralinguistic features of talk. I will update this space with my dissertation work once published!
